Gas Bill Calculator
Estimate your monthly SNGPL or SSGC domestic gas bill from your metered consumption — OGRA slabs with the preceding-slab benefit, fixed charges, meter rent and GST.
Domestic slabs are federally uniform, so SNGPL and SSGC share them — they differ only in gas heating value (GCV). FPA/GST as of FY 2025-26.

How it works
Domestic gas is billed on slab rates per MMBTU. Your metered hm³ is converted to MMBTU using the month's gas heating value.
- A single preceding-slab benefit applies below 4 hm³ — part of your usage is billed at the previous slab's rate.
- Fixed charges and meter rent are added.
- 18% GST is applied to the subtotal.

Frequently asked questions
How is the SNGPL / SSGC gas bill calculated?
Metered consumption in hm³ is converted to MMBTU using the gas heating value, then charged through OGRA's domestic slabs with a single preceding-slab benefit, plus fixed charges, meter rent and 18% GST.
What is 'hm³' on my gas bill?
hm³ means hundred cubic metres — the unit your gas meter reading is billed in. Enter the consumption figure shown on your bill.
Do SNGPL and SSGC charge differently?
Domestic consumer slabs, fixed charges and meter rent are set federally, so they're identical. They differ only in gas heating value (GCV), which slightly changes the MMBTU conversion.
What is a protected consumer?
Low-usage domestic consumers who haven't exceeded the protected thresholds pay lower slab rates and fixed charges. Toggle the switch to compare.
