Terms of Use

By using the Site you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf) and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you accept these Terms for that organisation.

Takhmeena is a suite of financial estimate calculators focused on Pakistan, including (among others) income tax, freelancer/IT-export tax, PTA mobile registration duty, electricity and gas bill estimates, solar system sizing and cost, zakat, usher, property and vehicle taxes, credit/debit card tax, and construction cost estimates. The Site is a convenience and educational tool that performs calculations from values you enter and from reference rates we provide.

Calculations run in your browser. Some pages load an updated set of reference values (such as tax slabs, tariffs and market prices) so estimates stay current, as described in our Privacy Policy.

All outputs of the Site are approximations and estimates generated for general informational purposes only. They are not:

• financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice;
• an official assessment, bill, tax return, valuation or fatwa;
• a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or the relevant authority.

You should independently verify any figure and consult a qualified advisor (such as a tax consultant, accountant, lawyer, scholar, or your utility provider or bank) before acting on it. You are solely responsible for any decision you make.

We work to keep the Site’s rates, slabs and prices reasonable and reasonably current, but tax laws, utility tariffs, government duties, commodity and equipment prices, and market conditions in Pakistan change frequently and can vary by city, region, provider, vendor and time. As a result, estimates may be incomplete, outdated, or differ — sometimes significantly — from your actual bill, tax liability, or the prices available in the market.

Always check official sources. Confirm tax figures with the FBR, electricity with NEPRA or your DISCO, gas with OGRA/SNGPL/SSGC, mobile duty with PTA/WeBOC, and property or vehicle taxes with the relevant provincial Excise & Taxation department — and confirm equipment and commodity prices with actual sellers — before relying on any estimate.

We give no warranty or guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness of any estimate, and we make no legal guarantee of any kind regarding the results.

The Site may reference third-party brand, product or model names (for example solar panels, inverters, batteries or mobile phone models) and indicative price ranges associated with them. These references exist only to help you estimate typical prices or taxes and are presented neutrally.

• Such references are not sponsored, paid or promotional content, and do not imply any partnership, endorsement or affiliation between us and any brand.
• We do not sell, recommend or guarantee any product, and any indicative prices are estimates that may not match real market prices.
• All trademarks, logos and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and estimation purposes only.

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; (b) scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site’s content or reference data by automated means beyond what a public search engine does; (c) interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Site or its data service; (d) attempt to circumvent, remove or interfere with advertising, or generate artificial clicks or impressions on ads; (e) remove or obscure any proprietary notices; or (f) resell, frame, republish or commercially redistribute the Site or its data without our written permission.

The Site is free and may be supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. By using the Site you understand that ads may be displayed and that Google and its partners may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services advertised; your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from our own content and are never presented as our recommendation.

Takhmeena is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, paid tiers, or payments of any kind on the Site. We will never ask you to pay or to enter payment details on takhmeena.com. If you ever encounter a page claiming to be Takhmeena that asks for payment, do not provide any details and contact us — it is not a legitimate part of the Site.

The Site, including its design, code, text, calculation logic, the “Takhmeena” name and logo, and other content (excluding third-party trademarks and ads), is owned by MUCO Apps and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Site for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution; no other rights are granted.

The Site relies on third-party services (such as Vercel, Google AdSense, Supabase and Web3Forms) and links to external websites (such as official government portals and app stores). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, sites or content, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any estimate will meet your requirements or correspond to actual amounts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUCO Apps and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or reliance on any estimate — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In particular, we are not liable for any tax penalty, surcharge, overpayment, underpayment, billing dispute, purchase decision or other loss resulting from reliance on the Site’s estimates. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Site, which is zero.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MUCO Apps from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any estimate in violation of Sections 3–4.

We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue the Site or any feature (including reference data) at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or block access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3–5 and 9–13) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan, unless applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
